April Irelan's Biography

As the heart and soul of this company, April Irelan is the first voice to greet you on the phone and she is the warm smile welcoming you in person to Paul’s office.

Personally and Professionally

April was born in 1954 at Milford Memorial Hospital and raised in Sussex County. She attended Milton grade schools in her childhood and then graduated from Cape Henlopen High School in Lewes, Delaware. Post-graduation, April started full time work as a secretary.

While doing secretarial work for a real estate company in the early 1980s, April completed a real estate course and obtained her real estate license. She worked as a REALTOR® until 1999 when she began her employment with the prominent Delaware beach real estate company, Jack Lingo, REALTOR®.

In the Lewes Community

April excels not only in her professional life but in her community involvement and experience.  Married 37 years, mother of two young men now married and grandmother of 2 girls. April is a Sunday school teacher and former SS assistant superintendent, April stays busy and active in her church. She enjoys every minute of it.

Outside of church, from being a girls coach to managing the concession stand and even becoming Secretary of the League, April also was always a vigorous Lewes Little League supporter. After little league experiences both Irelan sons played high school sports at Cape Henlopen including wrestling, soccer and baseball. April was always there to cheer them on and participate in the PTO, Booster Clubs, fundraisers, and class fields trips.

Enjoying Delaware Living

Now a joyful grandmother, April enjoys spending time with her family.  She also enjoys boating, fishing, crabbing, swimming and tubing. She has previously taken residence in the rural areas of Milton, Pot Nets in Long Neck. April currently resides with her husband in Herring Creek Estates. She enjoys working with children and families as well as seniors.
